Easter Party

We went and had breakfast with the Easter Bunny and they had games, Alex got his face painted and he won a cake in the cake walk. We also did a couple trips around the fellowship hall doing the bunny hop.

I forgot my real camera and so had to take pics with my camera phone. I even uploaded and then deleted the pics on my camera just so I could take pics today, but then walked right out of the house without it. On the upside, the church's photographer took a pic of each kid with the Bunny and they printed them out right there. So I have a really nice picture that didn't cost me $20 like at the mall. They did a cute foam easter egg frame so once I scan the pic up and make some copies I'll crop it and glue it to the frame. All in all, it was a fun day. You can't beat winning a cake! For your enjoyment, a few pictures:

You Know You're From Ohio When...

You don't think of Florida first when someone mentions Miami.

You snicker when someone's from Tiffin, because you think of the State Hospital. (I've never done that)

You think Pro football teams are supposed to wear orange! (I am a little more evolved than that!)

You've heard of 3.2% beer. (nope)

Schools close for the state basketball tournament.

You're proud of your state fair, but would rather go to Cedar Point.

You live less than 30 miles from some college or university.

You know what a buckeye really is, and have a recipe for candy ones.

"Toward the lake" means "north" and "toward the river" means "south."

You've heard of the Great Nickel Beer Night Riot.

You know if other Ohioians are from southern or northern Ohio as soon as they open their mouths.

You root for a college team though you've never taken a class there. (nope)

You can spell words like Cuyahoga, Olentangy, Bellefontaine, and Tuscarawas

You always visit more than two amusement parks in one summer.

You know that Serpent Mounds were not made by snakes.

You know what game they're playing when the Mud Hens take on the Clippers.

"Vacation" means spending a day at Cedar Point or King's Island.

Down south to you means Kentucky.

You thought that the Michael Stanley Band was the most popular band in the country. (uh, no)

You actually get these jokes and pass them on to other friends from Ohio.

We are Moving!

YAY!!!!! We now have the keys and can begin moving in to our new place!!! I'm so excited and relieved!!! Alex will have a fenced in yard and screened in back porch to play in and I'll have a dishwasher!! We get bigger bedrooms too! I can not wait to move now! There are so many more pros there than here.

Tomorrow is the MOMS Club easter egg hunt and then after that I will begin carting stuff over to the new place! Plus Bill is off tomorrow evening so we can load up his pickup and make a couple trips with all the stuff we don't need over the next 2 weeks.

Alex really seems to like the place and is completely loving the stairs so hopefully he won't have a problem transitioning to living there.

YAY!!!!!

I'm going to take Alex up to the mall for his pic w/ the Easter Bunny. With all the moving crap I almost forgot that this is the last week to do that--since Easter is Sunday and all.

We went to WalMart the other night and bought the stuff for his Easter Basket--yum, I can't wait until Sunday. I'm dreading when he's old enough to want to eat all his candy--LOL. I have, I mean he has Reese's peanut butter eggs, Cadbury Caramel eggs, Jelly Belly jelly beans and a bunch of other yummy things, plus some toys he can play with. We don't have any dinner plans but that's ok because it's not like he really gets it yet anyway. Plus, I'm not up to it with being up until midnight every night to clean and pack. Ugh.
